Motor Vehicles Act,1988  - Section 147 (2)

Motor Vehicles Act, 1939 - Section 95(2)(a) - Liability of Insurance Company Limited to the extent of Rs. 1,50,000/- Accident has taken place within the period of 4 months and the policy was to expire thereafter - The date of accident being earlier one in point of time - According to the proviso, the policy issued under the old Act shall continue to be effective in the case in hand - Insurance Company liable to recover amount excess of Rs. 1,50,000/- paid to the claimants.
