Circumstantial evidence - Death of wife in matrimonial home within one year and four months of marriage - No eye-witness - Report of the doctor that death was due to asphyxia resulting from throttling which was ante mortem and homicidal in nature - Accused (Husband, mother-in-law and sister-in-law) absconded after the occurrence - Conduct of the accused in absconding at the relevant time left unexplained and held to be an inculpating circumstance against them by the High Court - Circumstances sufficient to convict the accused for murder - Conviction under Section 302 Indian Penal Code upheld.
